The Company: The Origins of Shaka

A family business that loves what we do because we love what Shaka Shoes do for us. Starting out in a small dive shop in Kona, and now expanded to over 100 dealers in the United States and internationally, our mission is to give everyone a little piece of Hawaii… a little “Aloha fo da feet”.
4 brothers, and da wives and kids…living on the Big Island of Hawaii… needed a good shoe.

Eh braddah, we got beaches, but das only da beginning! We talkin’ ’bout da BIG ISLAND!
Snow-capped mountains (believe it!), tropical rainforests and waterfalls, live volcanoes, deep canyons and black-sand beaches, choke acres of ranch lands… you name it, we got it!
So we needed a shoe that can go anywhere, and do anything. We knew if we could find a shoe that fit the Big Island, it would work anywhere else.
Guess what? Shaka Shoes work… and play!
From the beach to the boardwalk, from the slopes to the Strip, from the half-pipe to the boat, Shaka Shoes has something for everyone. Even the keiki kids and the ol’ kapunas love ‘em.
